Dr. Hawaa Ali, O.D.

Dr. Hawaa Ali, OD, is very experienced optometrist in Irvine, California who is skilled in every aspect of optometry with over 10+ years experience. Dr. Ali assists patients on a variety of ocular care and ocular disease issues, including eye exams, pediatric vision care, contact lenses, ocular disease treatment, ocular trauma treatment, computer vision syndrome, dry eye syndrome, and glaucoma management.

Dr. Ali earned an undergraduate degree at the UC Irvine, and then went on to earn a Doctor of Optometry and glaucoma certification at Marshall B. Ketchum University Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Ali gained invaluable experience in a variety of facilities, including Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, the Veterans Affairs Los Angeles Ambulatory Center, Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton, Arizona, and the eye care center at the Southern California College of Optometry.

Dr. Ali's primary goal is to provide top-quality eye care in a supportive manner that addresses and anwers every issue and concern the patient might have. Dr. Susan Ghodsi, O.D.

Dr. Susan Ghodsi has been practicing Optometry for over 25 years. With her extensive clinical knowledge, Dr. Ghodsi excels in patient care, namely complex contact lens evaluations. She is experienced in diagnosing and treating ocular disease, LASIK co-management and comprehensive eye exams.

Dr. Ghodsi received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from University of California, Irvine and her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1996.

Dr. Ghodsi lives in Irvine with her two sons and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. As a mother, Dr. Ghodsi understands the importance of healthy vision and strives to provide quality eye care. She is excited to meet you and is accepting new patients

Jasper Cheng, O.D.

Dr. Jasper Cheng grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area after which he attended the University of California Santa Barbara earning a bachelor’s in Cell and Developmental Biology. While in undergrad he was involved in several retinal research projects funded by the National Institute of Health and biotech companies like Alcon and Allergan.

He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry completing external rotations with an emphasis in medical optometry through the Veterans Affairs hospital in Fresno, Veterans Affairs outpatient clinics in San Jose and Arizona, and community clinics in Oakland.

Dr. Cheng is passionate about treating ocular disease and emphasizes the importance of ocular health and its relation to systemic health. He believes the key to patient wellness and happiness lies in patient education and thus hopes to provide the highest quality of vision care by combining the latest technologies with excellent patient care and education.

When not in clinic, Dr. Cheng enjoys relaxing on the beach, going hiking, watching movies, and cooking.
