Meet the team

Our team is composed of eye health professionals who are dedicated to our patients. We will do everything we can to ensure you have a pleasant visit every time. We will answer any questions you have and also make sure your concerns are taken care of.


Our entire team is dedicated to education. We are constantly learning so that we can provide the highest quality care for your eyes.

Dr. Susan Ghodsi, O.D.

Dr. Susan Ghodsi has been practicing Optometry for over 25 years. With her extensive clinical knowledge, Dr. Ghodsi excels in patient care, namely complex contact lens evaluations. She is experienced in diagnosing and treating ocular disease, LASIK co-management and comprehensive eye exams.

Dr. Ghodsi received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from University of California, Irvine and her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1996.

Dr. Ghodsi lives in Irvine with her two sons and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. As a mother, Dr. Ghodsi understands the importance of healthy vision and strives to provide quality eye care. She is excited to meet you and is accepting new patients

Dr. Catherine Huang, O.D.

Dr. Catherine Huang is an Orange County native. She received her Bachelor of Science in General Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Communication from UC San Diego. She completed her doctorate and residency in Primary Care/Cornea and Contact Lenses from UC Berkeley School of Optometry.

​​​​​​​She specializes in fitting scleral lenses for various corneal conditions and is glaucoma certified. Dr. Huang is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the International Keratoconus Academy. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her husband, son, and golden retriever.

Dr. Anne Yang, O.D.

Dr. Anna Yang grew up in Seattle and discovered her love for eye care while studying at the University of Washington. She later moved to Southern California, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry.

Dr. Yang is certified to treat and manage glaucoma and other ocular diseases, and she provides comprehensive eye exams and personalized vision care at University Optometric Center in Irvine. She also co-manages LASIK patients and brings first-hand insight as a LASIK patient herself.

Known for her warm, educational approach, Dr. Yang is dedicated to finding the best treatment plan for each patient and helping them understand their eye health. Outside the office, she enjoys serving on eye care mission trips to India, and has also provided care in villages in Costa Rica and orphanages in Guatemala.

Dr. Monica Reyes, O.D.

Dr. Monica Reyes earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry, now part of Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California. During her training, she completed clinical rotations in pediatrics, ocular disease, contact lenses, low vision, and vision therapy.

After graduation, Dr. Reyes returned to her Southern California roots and joined University Optometric Center in Irvine, where she provides comprehensive eye exams and thoughtful, individualized eye care. She loves practicing in settings where she can treat patients like family and make them feel comfortable and cared for.

Outside the office, Dr. Reyes enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, especially on family outings and weekend adventures.

Dr. Amanda Dinh, O.D.

Dr. Amanda Dinh earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Science from the University of California, Irvine, before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry.

During her clinical training, Dr. Dinh completed a variety of rotations throughout Southern California, providing comprehensive eye care to pediatric, geriatric, underserved, and special needs populations. She has experience in contact lens fitting, myopia management, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease.

Dr. Dinh is passionate about providing personalized, compassionate eye care and helping each patient achieve their best possible vision. Outside the office, she enjoys painting, embroidery, baking, and spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to welcoming you to University Optometric Center and caring for your vision needs.

Dr. Kaitlyn Tsou, O.D.

Dr. Kaitlyn Tsou, O.D. provides comprehensive eye care at University Optometric Center in Irvine, CA, with a special interest in specialty contact lenses, corneal disease, and myopia management.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Cell Biology & Physiology, with a minor in Chemistry, from California State University, Long Beach before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. She then completed an advanced Cornea and Contact Lens Residency at SCCO, where she specialized in fitting scleral lenses and other specialty contact lenses for patients with keratoconus, post-surgical corneas, and other complex corneal conditions.

Dr. Tsou also has experience in pediatric contact lenses, myopia management, and ocular prosthetics. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, California Optometric Association, and Orange County Optometric Society.
